Lace Globes

On the layer palette, Right click ON the layer,
Promote to a layer so it has the transparent background.
Invert the selection. Cut the black away (Ctrl-X)
Invert the selection.
Use a Blade Pro's Shiny Gold Preset.
Get it here.
From the layer palette, drag the layer to a
blank area of the worktop.
You get the image below with no wasted space. Save this as a tube.
Close the pulled off image.
Right click on the layer palette,
duplicate the image,
Image/Flip
Click on the Shapes icon. (Blue Square with the
Red circle)
Eclipse, both Antialias and Vector
checked line width 3 to 5 -- white
color.
Draw an oval shape. Right click on the layer, convert to raster.
Drag the oval layer to the bottom of the layer palette.
Click ON the oval line to select it.
Give it a Shiny Gold preset in blade pro too.
Click INSIDE the oval with the magic wand.
Just the inside of the oval should be selected now.
Click on Bevel Boss in Eyecandy 4000.
This is the setting I used.
You should end up with something like this.
To get rid of the hangie over part, Make sure the oval layer is
active (blue) click with the magic wand to surround the oval.
Click on each of the other layers on the layer palette, then CTRL-X
to cut away the access. Layers/Merge/Merge Visable (NOT ALL)
Here I added a layer for the bottom color.
Here I added a tube to the center, clicked the
magic wand
on the outside of the oval and texturized the outside and added a light shadow.
Neat huh?

You can use the deformation tool to enlarge or shorten the size of the Globes.
