CutOuts and Color
Open a New Image 300x300
Open the layer palette, add a layer
Fill layer one with a color. Click on layer2.
Click on the paint brush icon
Open the tool palette.
Click on Brush types
Custom
Pick a brush to use. I like flower brushes.
Here are the brushes I use. Save to your brushes
folder.
Click the brush once.
(make sure your brush color is black)
You should get something like this.
Image/effect/cutout
This is the setting I used.
Be sure the FILL interior color is UN-checked.
Image/Effects/Drop Shadow
With this setting.
You should now have something like this.
Duplicate Layer2.
Click on layer2 to make it active.
Click on the retouch icon. (finger)
COLOR TO TARGET.
Click on a color.
Color the areas as you like.
The nice thing is you don't have to worry about
staying in the lines.
Like this.
Here I added a perspective shadow.
Be sure to have colored layer 2
Or you lose the detail.
(I merge the flower layers.)
To frame it in glass,
Add a layer, Preset shapes, Ellipse.
Make an oval in white. Then click on it with the magic wand.
I applies the shiny Gold preset in Blade Pro.
Click inside the oval
I use Eyecandy 4000 bevel boss.
It makes super glass!
You should have something like this.
Merge /merge visible.
